Star Party at Schroon Lake

ADK Dark Skies and the Adirondack Sky Center and Observatory will be hosting a free "star party" on Saturday, October 11 at 8:00 p.m. at the Schroon Lake Town Beach.
Simon Thill, a Saranac Lake native who is the Sky Center's Associate Director of Astronomy Outreach, will be introducing the Schroon Lake community to a night of informed star gazing with Saturn and the Milky Way taking center stage! Lights out please for better viewing.
Cozy up at the Town Beach with your blankets, chairs, binoculars and telescopes, and get ready to look through a high-powered telescope to see Saturn’s rings and more!
The rain date is Sunday, October 12.
